The Shades
"The laws are different here". - Prelude
Supersilver gazed longingly from above, almost anticipating the death that was sure to come. The people practically worshipped him from below, sometimes uncontrollably gawking at the immortal. The time was near, everyone could feel it. The very air seemed to vibrate with excitement as people gathered to watch him fall. And as soon as he had appeared, Supersilver was screaming through the air, a strange contentment was growing inside him, along with a second thought of "WHAT AM I DOING?". He landed with an anti-climactic *THUMP*. He was dead, and he knew it, but as he took the final commitment into mortality, She appeared to him. Cold silence was the obvious thing to expect, due to her female nature, however, deafening explosions could be heard, shivers that penetrated Supersilver's soul like never before now crippled him. Then he was comforted, suddenly gaining reassurance of his position. Enlightenment raced through his body, empowering him. A flash in reality, yet decades in Supersilver's mind. Soon visions of what his enlightenment MUST be used for BURNED in his mind. Then, as soon as the chaos had begun it ended, and Supersilver was mortal.
With one, subtle sentence, with one, harmless phrase, Haven's doom was sealed.
"Welcome to Haven", said Netu.

Re: The Shades
"Now, we divide".
For now, thing were routine; Completing menial acts of labor that for some reason increased ones social status among the commoners, and entertaining MASTER Netu with mindless acts of stupidity. MASTER Netu really did seem to become quite thrilled whenever someone built something horrid, as if he enjoyed tormenting physically challenged members of the society. Supersilver had just cleaned up his shop for the night and was walking back to his abode, when without warning he was warped to the warzone. "WHO GOES THERE!", shouted Supersilver with all of his might. Paranoia had set in long before this event, and He had done an exceptional job at concealing it, but not even the greatest amount of confidence could completely expel all fear. Supersilver felt a familiar tingling in his spine, a familiar burn in his flesh, and a familiar electricity in his brain. She was here, and he knew it, and this comforted him. Visions of weapons popped into Supersilver's imagination, all utilizing the passive efforts of redstone. He immediately thought of the Shifters, and so the effects of Her presence faded, and Supersilver was alone.
Supersilver journeyed not far to the Shifters Tower with the intention of stealing whatever current project is in their testing facility. Not to his surprise, the room was empty, so to compensate he constructed a small redstone facility in his back room.
It was not hard to acquire inside information on the Shifters, for Supersilver had shown remarkable respect towards them, and through said respect, he gained their trust. Mister B and EliteJack happily showed him numerous advancements in technology, such as wireless circuits and cloaking towers.
Supersilver sighed a great sigh of relief. They had no weapons to fear of-- Thats when it clicked. She was not worried of anything, she merely wanted him to construct weapons. This simple aspect confused Supersilver greatly, but he had learned to go with whatever she instructed, So he began contemplating the basics of the deadliest thing Haven was currently aware of. The Rift.

Re: The Shades
"Now, we breathe deep."
Energy, its capabilities are limitless so long as there is fuel.
Power, its capabilities are limitless so long as there is energy.
Knowledge, its capabilities are limitless so long as man desires power.
The Rift, its capabilities are limitless so long as there is knowledge to fuel it.
Using these theories Supersilver devised the only known Channel-able Rift Gate in existence, in his mind that is.
Everything was so clear, everything so painstakingly obvious that Supersilver questioned why no one else had constructed this beast of machinery. Many possibilities occurred to him, such as: Redstone circuits defying logic, which was completely impossible, for he had tested every active wire that would be attached to the gate successfully; Maybe all efforts to channel the rift had been run down by some kind "secret service"; The possibility for error seemed unbound, yet impossible at the same time.
For now, his plans consisted of the ironic twist of cloaking the gate as a cloaking tower. Power would not be an issue, possibly due to the fact that he had been stealing various energy sources for ages. He then stumbled on the biggest problem in his plan; Himself.
But he was perfect, both mentally through and enlightenment, and physically through large amounts of diamond wares and tools. The idea seemed straight-foward, but as with most things that the human brain simply cannot process, Supersilver decided to disregard every notion of the thought.
Everything was prepared. He held every single block required to obtain victory among the people, city, and land of Hope.
Thats when he gazed into the stars, and allowed all thoughts clear from his enlightened mind. He sensed various wildlife miles away, knowing that they would experience that cold hour when the sun goes black, and never again shines on Haven.
Then Supersilver smiled the last positive expression on the great land of Hope.

Re: The Shades
"Now, we humble".
It was quick.
One moment there was a standard hut, and the next a trembling avatar of destruction. All that was required to destroy Hope was a flick of my mortal wrist.
Supersilver flicked his mortal wrist, and all went dark- -Then all was reverted. He knew he had destroyed Hope, but here it was plain as day in front of his nose. A deafening silence raged through the air, and all went dark yet again. She had done it. She had taken the glory of destroying the great land, and he accepted that. The shifters had failed their keepers, and keepers their shifters.
The keepers really had no chance. MASTER Netu truly failed them, leaving them in the dark without any idea of how to prevent the darkness from invading. Even if he didnt know how, giving them no HOPE truly was cruel.
Supersilver then gazed into an unfamiliar sky, filled with unfamiliar opportunities.
He then smiled the first positive expression of the Cascade.

Re: The Shades
"Now, we imagine".
Supersilver examined the foreign Cascade with effortless fury. He wanted these vast oceans to turn to lava, and these flying land masses to turn to obsidian. Of course he knew that these thoughts would not be reality any time soon, but thinking big never killed anything... with the exception of everything that resided in Hope. Just as Supersilver stepped of the newly founded Alter of Souls, he warped. Supersilver had become accustomed to the feeling of intense darkness and no longer felt any sensation, save adrenaline when being instructed by Her. GO WEST was the lesson. Supersilver immediately went to the port and noted a sign that informed the community of Netu's pursuit to the east. As instructed, Supersilver departed west from the port. He found a rather large island and settled there. Within a matter of hours, Supersilver had established multiple sheds, a farm, and a port on the island. It wasnt difficult to see why he had been instructed to voyage to that land, for the darkness resided on the western tip of it.
"AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Supersilver then became wildly possessed, and fainted.
When he awoke, there was a small machine at his feet.
A redstone circuit that seemed to power itself, with all the ends of the wire attached to a lapis lazuli block. Its output linked to a dirt mound with a sapling on top. Then as Supersilver looked in closer it grew out and formed a tree with all forms of material.
Atop of the lapis lazuli, laid a sign that claimed...
"The first step to the end is always the beginning..."
Supersilver Shivered.
